Kochi  : Congress Leader Rajmohan Unnithan under suspension pending inquiry, today filed a petition before the Kerala High Court to modify the bail conditions in an immoral activities case in which he was recently arrested along with a woman.

In the petition, he sought to relax the bail conditions requiring him to appaer before the investigating officer on all Fridays and not to leave the State.

He and Jayalakshmi were arrested from Manjeri on December 21 under the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act of 1956.

The co-accused, Jayalakshmi, had also moved a similar petition before the High Court.
